Madilynn Rhinevault, fondly known as Madi, isn’t your average 18-year-old from Montrose High School in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. She’s a rising star in the world of archery, capturing victories in competitions that span from local tournaments to global stages.
Her impressive wins have not only cemented her position as an elite athlete but have also sparked a desire to guide and uplift her fellow archers in the future.
Recently, Madi showcased her talent at the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP), where she competed in events held across the nation and even internationally in Manheim, Louisville, and Daytona, Florida.
With exceptional skill and unwavering determination, she emerged victorious in various categories, clinching first place in 3D, bullseye, and centershot tournaments among female participants at the highly competitive nationals.
Despite narrowly missing the top spot in the 3D Centershot event by a mere five points to her teammate Ava Castrogiovanni, Madi’s performance was nothing short of outstanding. Her journey to success has been fueled by gratitude for the opportunities that have allowed her to reach new heights in her high school archery career.
Madi’s passion for archery dates back to her childhood, receiving her first bow as a Christmas gift at the tender age of five. Guided by her father, she honed her skills over the years, transitioning from backyard practice sessions to competitive tournaments. Her love for the sport has remained unwavering, propelling her to excel both individually and as part of a team.
Beyond her personal achievements, Madi is committed to giving back to the sport that has given her so much. She aspires to become a certified Basic Archery Instructor, eager to mentor and coach aspiring archers, fostering a supportive and inclusive community within the sport.

With several scholarships earned through her sporting endeavors, she plans to embark on a journey towards becoming a teacher, integrating archery coaching into her professional endeavors.
