Michigan State Women’s Basketball to Compete in 2024 Acrisure Classic

Michigan State women’s basketball will be one of four teams to participate in the 2024 Acrisure Classic in Palm Springs, California, from November 26 to 27. The tournament, held at Acrisure Arena, will feature a unique format, with the teams playing each other on consecutive days.

The Spartans will kick off the tournament with a matchup against California on Tuesday, November 26 at 1:30 p.m. EST. This will be the first meeting between the two teams in almost 30 years, and Michigan State will look to improve their record against the Golden Bears.

The tournament will feature a total of four teams, with the winners of each contest playing for the championship on the second day. The losers of each game will compete for third place earlier that day.

This is a significant opportunity for Michigan State to gain experience and exposure against top-tier opponents. The team finished last season with a 22-9 overall record under first-year coach Robyn Fralick and will be looking to build on that success in the upcoming season.

Fans can purchase tickets for the Acrisure Classic starting Friday, with sales opening at 1 p.m. EST. Tickets can be purchased at the Acrisure Arena box office, online at acrisurearena.com, or through ticketmaster.com.
