About Us

We are parents, teachers, students and community members who are strong in our belief that all children, especially those historically underserved by the traditional system, have the right to attend excellent schools.

Alina Adams is a New York City mom of 2 school-age children (and one off to college!), who happens to be a New York Times best-selling author. She’s made it her mission to help all parents find the best school for their child.

Gregory Wickham was a student at Stuyvesant High School. He runs NYC School Tech, a site where people can donate spare laptops and tablets to students in need. He was a quarter-finalist in the 2014 Young Rewired State Festival of Code.

Glenn Mason is a former CPA who spent over 25 years in a variety of roles in corporate America. He left that world to teach history in a New York City public high school for 13 years, from which he recently retired.

Chloe Pashman is education director of a CBO preschool in the Bronx. She has worked in the Early Childhood Education field for over 20 years.
